报告摘要:
Dr. Oatley will discuss the key functional and molecular features are that define a stem cell in the mouse male germline, in particular our discovery of ID4 as a specific marker of spermatogonial stem cells, the generation of an Id4-eGfp transgenic reporter line, and the role that ID4 plays in maintaining the stem cell state. He will talk about how we have utilized the Id4-eGfp transgenic to develop a high throughput screen for identifying novel transcription factors that are important for maintenance of the stem cell pool.
